Paradip's renowned social activists and trade union leader Rakesh Pattnaik honoured mediapersons of Paradip on Wednesday for their relentless and dedicated service during the fight against the Covid-19.

A felicitation programme was held at Press Squire near to Paradip Model police station following Covid-19 guidelines. Nearly 40 journalists were offered sanitizers, masks and other Covid preventative and safety materials.

Notably, the working journalists are doing a great service to the State as well as country by providing seamless news feeds, making people aware of issues relating to Covid-19 during these very trying times and they are a great support for the war against Covid-19. More than 100 journalists have lost their lives due to Covid-19, said the speakers on the occasion.
