Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday said the welfare of human society lies in the path shown by Baba Guru Ghasidas.

He was addressing a public gathering to mark the conclusion of the Guru Ghasidas Baba Lok Mahotsav and Jayanti Samaroh at Nawagarh in Bemetara district, an official communication said. He said the state is forging new dimensions of development by following the path of            harmony, peace and love given by Guru Ghasidas.

The Satnami community following the path of Baba Guru Ghasidas has become educated and is contributing to the development of the state, he said. The message ‘Satnaam’ inspires every living being to be ready for the truth in every moment, he said.

Baghel asked the district Collector to hand over government land in the name of ‘Guru Balak Das Seva Samiti’ as per legal process. He pledged Rs 1 crore for the construction of Jaitkham and a building in Nawagarh.
