The state government, on Saturday, shifted 21 IPS officers, including police chiefs of Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya and 11 other districts.
Senior Superintendent of Police of Prayagraj, Ajay Kumar Pandey, has been shifted to CB-CID in Lucknow in the same capacity. SSP of Ayodhya, Shailesh Pandey, has been sent to Prayagraj in the same capacity while SP of Kannauj, Prashant Verma has been made the new SSP of Ayodhya. Commandant, 41 PAC Battalion, Rajesh Srivastava, has been shifted to Kannauj as SP.
SSP Saharanpur, Akash Tomar, has been shifted as the new SP of Gonda. SSP of Gorakhpur, Vipin Tada, has been shifted to Saharanpur in the same capacity. SP of Gonda, Santosh Mishra, has been shifted to Mirzapur in the same capacity, replacing Ajay Kumar Singh who has been promoted to the rank of DIG and sent to PAC Varanasi sector.
SSP of Mathura, Gaurav Grover, has been made the new SSP of Gorakhpur and SSP of Muzaffarnagar, Abhishek Yadav, has been posted as SSP Mathura. SP of Amroha, Vineet Jaiswal, has been shifted as the new SSP of Muzaffarnagar. Deputy Commissioner of Police in Varanasi, Aditya Langeh, has been shifted as SP of Amroha.
SP of Kasganj, Rohan Bothre, has been made the new SP of Ghazipur, replacing Ram Badan Singh who has been shifted as DCP in Noida police commissionerate. Kanpur Nagar DCP BBGTS Murthy has been shifted as SP of Kasganj.
SP of Amethi, Dinesh Singh, has been shifted to Bijnor in the same capacity. DCP in Noida police commissionerate, Elamaran G, has been made the new SP of Amethi. SP of Bijnor, Dharamvir, has been shifted to 6 PAC Battalion as Commandant.
SP Vijay Dhull, who was posted in BR Ambedkar Police Academy, has been sent to Kanpur police commissionerate DCP while DCP in Kanpur Nagar, Sanjeev Tyagi, has been made SP Intelligence in Ayodhya. SP CB-CID Rahul Raj has been shifted to Lucknow police commissionerate as DCP.
