ICSI holds seminar on real estate issues

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Bhubaneswar Chapter in collaboration with the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) organised a seminar on issues and challenges in the real estate sector here on Saturday.

 

Inaugurating the seminar, ORERA Chairperson Siddhant Das said the ORERA is providing a lot of protection to home buyers and it gives order only on the material evidences placed before it.

 

Member (Admn) Pradeep Kumar Biswal highlighted the initiative taken by the ORERA and said because of the enactment of real estate regulation a lot of ethics and governance has been undertaken in dealing with real estate sectors.

 

Member (Judicial) Ramanath Panda, Secretary Bijay Kumar Prusty, Additional Secretary Sravani Patnaik, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation City Planner Lingaraj Prasad Pattanaik, advocate Bibhu Prasad Tripathy and ICSI chapter chairperson Jyotirmoy Mishra also spoke.
