The Xavier Institute of Management (XIM) University here celebrated its foundation day on Wednesday.
Joining as the chief guest, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd CMD Sanjay C Kirloskar said that all business endeavours must be transparent and taken forward with commitment and honesty.
Under his leadership, the Kirloskar Brothers Ltd is being reckoned as India’s largest pump manufacturer with international presence across continents.
Prominent among others who spoke were Board of Governors Chairman Emeritus Rajive Kaul, Board of Governors Chairman Jerome Cutinha, SJ, Vice Chancellor Fr Antony R Uvari SJ and Registrar Fr S Antony Raj SJ.
On the occasion, the university conferred the Honorary Doctoral Degree in Business Management on Kirloskar. Besides, a few employees of the university were felicitated with long service medals for their dedication and loyalty to the institution.
