Bapudham Motihari station gets Gold rating
Bapudham Motihari station of Samastipur Division under East Central Railway has been given the prestigious Gold Rating by Indian Green Building Council for better use of eco-friendly measures. This rating is given on fully meeting the standards of Green Railway Station. In order to improve the passenger's satisfaction and experience, several eco-friendly passenger amenities have been provided at Bapudham Motihari station by the East Central Railway. Rating is given by the Indian Green Building Council for doing better work in the field of environment, water and energy conservation. It may be noted that the Indian Green Building Council in collaboration with the Environment Directorate of Indian Railways has developed the Green Railway Stations Rating System to adopt green concepts so as to reduce the adverse environmental impact arising out of station operation and maintenance.
CMPDI to hold 5-day Yoga programmes
CMPDI's, RI-III, Ranchi will be organising Various Yoga Programs from May 24 to 28 under Mass participative programme of 100 days 100 cities and 100 organisations under Yoga Mahotsav-2022 celebrations ( 100 days countdown for International Day of Yoga 2022). On Tuesday Sanjay Purbey, Yoga Expert delivered a lecture on the Importance of 'Yoga for Holistic Health'. AK Mishra, HoD (P&A) threw some light on the importance of Yoga for Health. GM/HoDs, Employees and Union Representatives participated in the Yoga lecture. During this five-day programme yoga related activities like Yoga Workshops, Lectures on Yoga, Common Yoga Protocol, Yoga Break( Y-break) Practice, Yoga demonstration, Quiz on Yoga will be organised.
4th stall under One Station One Product
According to the 'One Station One Product Scheme' announced in the Union Budget, food items, local food items, local food items by B K Enterprises for the sale of local produce at Ranchi station under Ranchi Railway Division of South Eastern Railway. An exhibition cum selling center for toys, leather products, local gems and jewellery was opened. This is the fourth temporary stall at Ranchi Railway Station under One Station One Product Scheme. Earlier, a temporary 15-day stall was organized by JHARCRAFT (Jharkhand Silk Textile and Handicraft Development Corporation Limited), Agricultural Consultancy and Rural Development Institute and Loomang Craft. The stall was inaugurated by the female traveler Urmila Devi, in the presence of the office bearers of the Board and representatives of B.K. Enterprises. The stall will be operated by Manoj Kumar Jha and the product information will be provided to the passengers by Phoolmani Toppo and Poornima Toppo at the stall.
