The flagship scheme of the Chhattisgarh government, Narwa, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari (NGGB), will be included in the curriculum of adult education.

This was stated in a  presentation made at the Steering Committee meeting on School Education, Teacher Education, ECCE and Adult Education in the context of the curriculum framework at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Raipur, an official communication said on Saturday.

Former IAS officer and educationaist Dr Sushil Trivedi said the NGGB should be included in the adult education, mainly in forest produce centres and tribal areas.

He suggested that the primary education of       children should be in the mother tongue. The three-language formula should be implemented in education.

Dr. Trivedi said that there was a need to change the method of assessment, keeping in view the diversity of the state.

The Additional Director of NCERT, Dr. Yogesh Shivhare, expressed             confidence that the state's curriculum would be               prepared according to the need and culture of the state.
