Police arrest 6 miscreants for damaging BMC property at Atal path

The TT Nagar police have arrested six accused who were involved in vandalism on Atal Path (Boulevard Street) of the state capital, they were roaming on the Atal Path trying to burn the dustbins again and break the benches, firecrackers were also kept in some dustbins.

During interrogation, they confessed to have damaged dustbins, benches and sign boards four days ago. TT Nagar police station has registered a case of damage to government property. The accused aimed to be damaged for selling the remains of the broken goods.

On Sunday night, some anti-social elements burst crackers in 28 dustbins, while three benches were also broken. A sign board was set on fire. In this case, the Municipal Corporation had also given an application to the TT Nagar police station.

The accused had burst firecrackers in 28 dustbins on either side of Atal Path. Dustbins were broken by this.

The police have arrested Gajendra Ahirwar of Pul Bogda, Dipansh  Kaithal of Ravidas Colony, Samar of Jinsi, Mohammad Adil Qureshi of Afzal Colony, Sanjeev Jatav of Ravidas Colony and Hrithik Jatav were arrested. All of them were roaming on the Atal Path.

Firecrackers were also kept in some dustbins. Meanwhile, the police trapped and caught them. Some of the accused managed to escape and search for these accused has been intensified.

BMC Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi expressed displeasure over the vandalism on Atal Path. On Tuesday, he informed TT Nagar police station TI Chain Singh Raghuvanshi from the spot and lodged a complaint on which an FIR was registered and arrests were made.
