The State on Saturday registered 836 new Covid-19 cases in 29 districts and the State pool, taking the total tally to 13,18,145.
Among the newly-infected were 148 children in the age group of 0 to 14 years.
Notably, the State on Friday had recorded the same number of Covid cases.
Out of the new cases, 490 were reported from quarantine and 346 local contacts.
Sundargarh district reported the maximum 175 new cases followed by Khordha with 91, Sambalpur 83, Mayurbhanj 72, Bargarh 47, Kalahandi 37, Cuttack 34, Balangir 33, Nabarangpur 32, Boudh 23, Kandhamal 21, Nayagarh 17, Nuapada 14, Koraput 12, Keonjhar 10, Baleswar and Subarnapur 16 each, Gajapati seven, Bhadrak four, Ganjam three, Kendrapada and Puri three each and Jagatsinghpur and Angul two each.
Besides, 21 cases were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 6,005.
So far, 13,02,941 persons have recovered from the disease in the State.
