Under the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Vinoba Bhave University has decided to start the undergraduate course under the rule and regulation of NEP. According to the New Education Policy the students can choose any vocational course with the regular four years degree course. As many as 41,456 students have applied for admission in the four years degree course.

Vice Chancellor of the university Mukul Naryan Dev said that we have decided to implement the National Education Policy in undergraduate courses in all constituent and affiliated colleges.

He further said that under this policy we have to offer vocational courses with regular courses. We have received online applications from more than 40 thousand students and maximum students have shown their interest in constituent colleges rather than affiliated colleges.

We have decided on both the courses in the colleges. The morning session has been allotted to vocational courses and regular courses in the evening. In St. Columba’s college the students can choose any one from Bio-tech, BCA, vocational course.

In KB Women’s college in vocational courses Fashion designing, C&D, Bachelor in corporate secretary, Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), and BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application), the students can select any vocational course.

In Ananda college the students can select any one from the BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration), BCA, Bio- Tech as vocational courses.

Dev further said that generally the fees of vocational courses are higher than the regular course. We are providing the facilities to poor students to pass the vocation courses on concessional rates.
