Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) created another history by surpassing the record 431 electric locomotives in the current Financial Year 2021-22 in record 258 working days which is the fastest in terms of working days in any Financial Year.
In continuation of the trend of producing 40+ locomotives per month, CLW achieves another achievement in that it produced a record 50 locomotives in February in FY 2021-22, this is the best production figure of February in any Financial year.
It is a proud moment for CLW that the record-breaking 432nd loco WAG9 HC (Loco No. 33466) of the current year was flagged off by Shri Satish Kumar Kashyup, general manager from saloon siding on February 28.
It is worth mentioning that CLW had earlier achieved the highest loco production figure of 431 in 2019-20 which is surpassed today.This feat was possible under the leadership & guidance of Shri Kashyup, general manager/CLW & with his continuous motivation and encouragement to the workforce of CLW.
Shri Kashyup congratulated the entire team of CLW and appreciated their commitment to the progress of production.
