Artists give spectacular performance on 3rd day of Udbhav Utsav

On the third day of the 18th four-day international dance and music festival, “Udbhav Utsav 2023”, being organized under the auspices of Udbhav Cultural and Sports Association in collaboration with Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Greenwood Public School and LIC, the competitions were held in two phases.

In the first phase, solo dance and instrumental band presentation took place in the morning and afternoon in the auditorium of Scindia Girls School. In the evening, the final competitions  of the Indian teams took place at the Greenwood Public School, Adityapuram. During this time, while on one hand, there were captivating presentations of classical dance along with jugalbandi of classical music and film songs through solo dance, there was also an exciting exhibition of explosive music through the instrumental band.

Students of Greenwood Public School and artists from various corners of the world showcased their talent by performing dances on songs like 'Jai Jai Shri Ganesha', 'Kala Chashma Jachata Hai', 'Vande Vande Mataram', Ek Chatur Naar Badi Hoshiyar' etc. Mohiniattom was also presented through dance. A mixture of eight types of dance including Attam, Satapriya, Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam and Odissi were also seen during this time. In solo dance, participants in classical and semi-classical rounds in different age groups gave spectacular presentations of their dances and songs.

Greenwood Public School, Amity International, Anika Music Centre and Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya participated in the Instrumental Band competition. During this, the melodious tunes of music mesmerized the audience  with the excellent jugalbandi between Naltarang, Sitar, Imraj, Sarod, violin, banjo, harmonium, tabla and drums.

The main attraction of the program was the students of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya who thrilled everyone with their rocking performance using instrumental band.

The jury consisting of Navneet Kaushal, Jaynarayan Srivastava and Jagatnarayan Sharma selected the winning contestants in the Instrumental Band. On the other hand, Devasmita Thakur, Swati Wangnu and Sridharan Nayak selected the winners of the solo dance participants.

The program was conducted with enthusiasm and passion, and the determination to win was visible in the final match of the Indian teams held at Greenwood Public School. The team of DPS Gurgaon played with the Gopis and spread the essence of love for Shri Krishna with their soulful dance on the song Aankh Micholi, while the students of Vidya Devi School, Hisar danced to the tune of Shiva.

Apart from these, the artists of Gandharva Academy Indore and Mata Nirmala Devi Dance Jhankar Aurangabad mesmerized the audience  with their captivating presentation of classical dance. The team of Queens College created a whole atmosphere with Ganpati Vandana. The Chief Guest of the program, Additional SP Amrit Lal Meena, after seeing the wonderful presentation, wished the participants a bright future and described the Udbhav Utsav as a symbol of preservation and promotion of culture.

On this occasion, President of the organization Dr. Keshav Pandey, Secretary Deepak Tomar, Alok Dwivedi, Praveen Sharma, Harish Pal, Surendra Pal Singh Kushwaha, Jagdish Gupt, Director of Greenwood Public School Dr. Aditya Singh Bhadauria, Rajendra Parihar, Amar Singh and Treasurer. Manoj Aggarwal, Mithali Tomar, Monu Rana, Sharad Yadav and Santosh Vashisht were specially present.
