Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday virtually distributed Rs 34.55 crore to 1.29 lakhs beneficiaries for August under the Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
Additionally, the Chief Minister gave away appointment letters to 82 officers who got ITI Training, an official statement said.
Baghel said the state government has so far distributed Rs. 146.98 crore as unemployment allowance.
The motto behind the scheme is not just financial assistance but to linking educated youths with jobs and self-employment opportunities, the Chief Minister added.
