Prof Dr Ajai Singh, Executive Director AIIMS Bhopal, delivered the keynote address in the international workshop titled "The Art of Writing Publishable Scientific Manuscript" organized by Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre, Bhopal.
The workshop was attended by around 80 delegates.
Speaking on the subject of "Clinical Perspectives of Biomedical Research: Bench to Bedside", Prof Singh stressed on the need of advancing translational research through extensive collaboration, in order to bring the discoveries of basic science into clinical use for diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of diseases. Coting the example of COVID-19 vaccines, he stressed on the potential of Indian scientists to deliver clinical solutions that have benefitted not only the country, but a vast section of mankind in meeting the challenge of the pandemic.
