Under the direction of Collector Neeraj Singh and guidance of Assistant Excise Commissioner Rajnarayan Soni and under the leadership of Control Room in-charge CK Sahu, ADEO Priya Randha, ADEO Prashant Mandloi, the excise team, on the basis of accurate information received from the informer, Excise Sub-Inspector Mrs. Vandana Mori, in-charge of circle Badnagar (A) raided in village Banbani.
During the raid, a lawful search was conducted at the residential house of Tejalal son of Hemraj caste Mogiya in village Banbani. 5 boxes of country liquor and 150 cans of foreign liquor and beer were recovered.
The total quantity of seized liquor is 120 bulk liters and the value of the seizure is approximately Rs 35500. Excise sub-inspector Vandana Mori registered a case against the accused Tejalal under section 34 (1) (a) and 34(2) of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act and arrested him and the accused was presented in the court and sent to jail and the case was taken up for investigation. The investigation is ongoing. Excise Sub Inspector Prateek Gupta and Kritika Dwivedi were also the part of raid team.
