Saturday, 13 April 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya today said that the people of the country and the State, especially those from the tribal communities are furious with the policies of the incumbent government. He said that the anger is such that it is coming out on the streets.

Addressing media persons here on Friday JMM Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that this time Sarhul had come forward in a special way. The anger of the people of the tribal community against the capitalists was seen on the streets of Ranchi, people celebrated the festival of Sarhul against the amendment of the forest law. Trees are being cut in the country. Forests are being destroyed. There are water and forests only when there are tribals.

He said that the Tribal/Sarna Dharma Code was passed in the Assembly and sent to Raj Bhavan. But the Governor sent it back. BJP should tell what the intention of the Central Government is, first the forests of Maharashtra were destroyed and now the Saranda of our state is being monitored. Now people are asking who this donation thief is. It takes half an hour for a common man to withdraw money. But the work of donation thieves gets done immediately.

The JMM leader said that in Sarhul, it was seen through the tableaux how the message of saving the forest is being given. BJP will have to answer on this. The real Sarna people are coming on 21st, these are Sanatani. Now the time has come that people will tell what a guarantee is. We are guaranteeing to save water, forests and animals.

A case has been registered against 26 people for taking out an objectionable tableau during the procession of Nature Parv Sarhul. A case of violation of code of conduct has been registered by the district administration in the Kotwali police station of Ranchi in connection with the tableau taken out by the Central Sarna Committee.

On the statement of Magistrate Vinay Kumar, an FIR has been registered against many people including the Chairman of Central Sarna Committee in Kotwali police station.
