BSL employees honoured for long-term service

On March 18, a ceremony was organized to honor 288 employees of Bokaro Steel Plant who have served for 25 years. The event, held at the Human Resource Development Center, was attended by Director - In Charge of Rourkela Steel Plant and Additional Charge Bokaro Steel Plant, Atanu Bhowmick, Executive Director (Works) B.K Tiwari, Executive Director (Projects and Additional Charge Material Management) C.R Mahapatra, Chief Medical Officer and Head B&H Dr. B.B Karunamay, senior officials, and other dignitaries.

 

At the beginning of the ceremony, Chief General Manager (Personnel) Hari Mohan Jha welcomed everyone. In his address, Director In-Charge Atanu Bhowmick congratulated the employees who have completed twenty-five years of service for their dedicated contributions. He emphasized the importance of using skills and knowledge to meet the increasing production targets in the competitive steel market. Bhaumik also urged the employees receiving long-term service awards to share their experiences in controlling production costs. Other dignitaries also praised the contributions of the BSL employees receiving long-term service awards and extended their congratulations and best wishes.

 

During the ceremony, 23 executives and 265 non-executives were awarded certificates of long-term service and gifts. The program was conducted by Assistant General Manager (Personnel) Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini and Manager (Personnel) Neeraj Kumar Tripathi. At the end of the program, General Manager (Personnel) P. Sen delivered the vote of thanks.
