In a dramatic turn of events on Tuesday, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSPP) cancelled the party ticket given to Bhawna Pandey from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. The party has now fielded Maulana Jamil Ahmed from the seat.
The BSP took this decision after Pandey decided to extend her support to BJP candidate and former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. It is pertinent to mention here that Pandey had joined BSP last week. The new candidate of BSP Ahmed is a former MLA from Mirapur assembly constituency of Muzaffarnagar seat of Uttar Pradesh.
