The Congress party here on Saturday sought action against Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma for violating the model code of conduct.
State Congress chief Deepak Baij told the Chhattisgarh Additional Chief Electoral Officer that Sharma along with supporters staged a protest a couple of days ago at the residence of Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant.
Baij demanded that Sharma be sacked as a minister.
