Governor, Union Minister Arjun Munda celebrate Sarhul

Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Union Minister Arjun Munda today celebrated Sarhul festival, during 'Sarhul Mahotsav' organized by the Department of Tribal and Regional Languages, Ranchi University. While congratulating all the people of the state for Sarhul, the Governor said that there is an interdependent relationship between man and nature. The real meaning of Sarhul is to worship trees and nature. The message implicit in this festival is that mankind does not exist without nature.

The Governor said that Sarhul is one of the important festivals of our state which is celebrated with great enthusiasm in other parts of the country also. This festival is not limited to the tribal community, it is celebrated by people of all communities with full enthusiasm. This festival further strengthens the feeling of mutual brotherhood among everyone.

He said that Sarhul gives the message to mankind to protect nature. Today, when the whole world is facing the challenge of global warming, the messages of festivals like Sarhul are extremely meaningful. He congratulated and congratulated everyone on the upcoming festival 'Ramanavami'.

Union Minister Arjun Munda participated in the Sarhul Mahotsav organized by the Tribal Languages Department of Ranchi University. On this occasion, Munda said that tribals have mutual relationships with water, forest and land. And now the time has come that we have to understand how important it is to save nature. The lifestyle of tribal society is also an example of a solution to the problem of global warming all over the world, because tribal society worships nature.
