The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha celebrated the party's 45th foundation day in Hazaribagh on Thursday. Addressing a huge gathering on the occasion, Kalpana Murmu Soren, wife of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, fiercely attacked the BJP government at the Centre.
“Your son, your friend, your brother, in whatever relationship you consider him, has apologized to you. Apology because after getting the mandate in 2019, he is not able to do what he wants to do for Jharkhand as per his vision. Hemant ji has been punished only because he wanted to work for his poor people. All his programmes were for public welfare. Whatever be the class, Hemant ji has made a series of schemes for all of you. This has happened only in the last four years after we came into alliance after getting a full majority. But the dictators sitting at the Center never like that any son of a tribal, dalit, minority, deprived community is coming forward and wants to work for their Jharkhand, then these people cannot tolerate it,” said Kalpana.
“BJP has taken maximum time in the government in Jharkhand. Today, when a tribal became the Chief Minister and started working for the people of Jharkhand, then these people started thinking that he is a fool. Nothing will happen from this. What would he understand if he is a tribal's child? But today I can proudly say that your own brother, during the Corona period, it was Hemant Soren who called migrant labourers from other states to his state by plane and train. At that time no central minister came forward and worked. At the time of Corona, everyone closed their windows and doors lest they get corona. But your own son, without caring for his own life, called the workers. This son is Hemant Soren. Who saw you when there was no one to see you for 2 years during the Corona period. He also got oxygen supplied in other states during the Corona period. A man who does not care about his life, because his kingdom should not sleep hungry. Don't bear the pain of separation from your loved ones. He could not tolerate this at all because his blood is tribal. We are very fortunate that his father Dishom Guru Shibu Soren had opened his front against the moneylenders at that time, barefoot and without any resources. At that time his father was murdered, because he raised his voice against the moneylenders,” she added.
Kalpana said that Jharkhand has become such a state where we have to struggle all the time at every turn and the central government is doing the same with us even today. When Hemant Soren's government was formed, Jharkhand was given step-motherly treatment. All the schemes were applicable in non-BJP ruled states. All the money was lost during the previous BJP government. Where the money went is not yet known. These people say that we have completed 5 years. But we say what did you do in these five years? Ever thought about the people here?
She said that the BJP people want to leave only one leader in the country. They want only one party in the country. Want to promote only one businessman in the country. Want to promote only one state language and culture. There is a problem in providing uniform education. There is a problem in giving all the rights that we have equally in all the states. Use your votes properly in this election, because it comes once in five years. This dictatorial government is in front of you. If BJP comes to power again, these people will make Jharkhand backward again. These people do not love Jharkhand. These people hate the Jharkhandis here. They do not like any child from Jharkhand to go out and study, said Kalpana.
