Till the first week the level was 1661.50 feet. That means, the water has reduced by more than 1 feet in March itself.

Currently the day temperature in Bhopal is more than 40 degree celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will reach 43 degrees in April and more than this in May. In such a situation the water level will decrease further. Water will evaporate due to strong sunlight.
