Lohardaga in grief after 2 deaths during Ram Navmi

There was mourning in Lohardaga town after the accident that happened on the day of Ram Navami. The city residents themselves kept their establishments closed. The shops remained closed after the Lohardaga Chamber had requested the people to keep their establishments closed during this hour of mourning. 

Two people had died in the accident in Lohardaga. Dozens of people were injured, out of which half a dozen were serious and are undergoing treatment at RIMS, Ranchi. Political and social organizations have expressed grief over this incident. All parties including Congress, BJP, AJSU, Anjuman Islamia, VHP, Jai Shri Ram Samiti have expressed condolences to the family. 

Local MP Sudarshan Bhagat himself took the initiative to help the injured and made arrangements at RIMS. It is noteworthy that two people, including a girl, have died after their DJ vehicle overturned during the Ram Navami procession near Rana Chowk in the city. While two dozen people have been injured in the accident. The condition of four of them remains critical, who have been referred to RIMS. It is being said that the DJ vehicle was overloaded, there were more people on it than required, due to which the DJ vehicle overturned and after that, due to loss of control, the DJ vehicle kept running on the road uncontrolled. 

During this time, a girl and a middle-aged man died tragically after being hit by a DJ vehicle. There was an atmosphere of celebration and devotion in the city regarding Ram Navami. The whole city was dancing with joy. The Ram Navami procession which went to Maina Bagicha through various routes of the city had to return midway. In this accident, Soni Rani, daughter of Nand Kishore Sahu, resident of Senha police station area, and a middle-aged man have died. Whereas more than two dozen people were injured in the accident, who were immediately brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. 

Civil Surgeon Dr Rajmohan Khalkho, Deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital Dr Shambhu Nath Choudhary along with his team are treating the injured. Four seriously injured people have been sent to RIMS. After receiving information about the incident, District Deputy Commissioner Waghmare Prasad Krishna, SP Haris Bin Zaman, DDC Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar reached the spot with the entire team. Many times a situation of commotion arose but the police force controlled the situation with full promptness. This accident that happened during the Ram Navami procession left people disappointed and they returned home disappointed.
