Loyola School's students commemorated World Earth Day with deep dedication and a sense of responsibility. The day commenced with a special assembly, featuring a prayer where students vowed to safeguard the planet Earth.

The event included a captivating presentation by students, shedding light on the urgency of combating climate change and advocating various methods of environmental conservation. A poignant dance performance further underscored the imperative for collective action in preserving our ecosystem and mitigating the impacts of global warming.

Father Vinod Fernandes, Principal of Loyola School, commended the students for their initiatives. In his address, he emphasized the universal significance of Earth Day, stressing the school's commitment to the Tarumitra project aimed at instilling environmental awareness among students.

Additionally, the occasion served as a tribute to ten distinguished alumni who graciously volunteered their time to conduct classes for students, facilitating continuity in education amidst teacher absences due to board paper evaluations.
