A comprehensive review meeting was convened today at the Collectorate Auditorium in Jamshedpur, chaired by Returning Officer Ananya Mittal. The meeting brought together senior officials, nodal officers, and personnel from the Personnel and Training Cell to strategize and ensure the seamless execution of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Key discussions in the meeting included a thorough review of applications seeking relief for personnel assigned to the Personnel and Training Cell due to medical reasons. Chairman Mittal emphasized the importance of all officers and employees fulfilling their duties diligently and ensuring smooth operations. Furthermore, a strict deadline of March 18, 5 pm, was set for contributions from all cells.
The District Returning Officer issued directives to expedite the training of essential polling personnel, including presiding officers and their assistants. Emphasis was placed on completing the training calendar promptly, ensuring comprehensive election-related training for all personnel involved in various capacities. Additionally, officials were urged to familiarize themselves thoroughly with the handbooks pertinent to their respective roles, facilitating efficient execution of election-related tasks.
The meeting witnessed the participation of Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, Director NEP, District Planning Officer, Additional Municipal Commissioner of Mango Municipal Corporation, District Welfare Officer, Deputy Election Officer, Assistant Director of Social Security, District Education Superintendent, District Education Officer, and other relevant officers and personnel.
The gathering underscored the commitment of all stakeholders to uphold the integrity and fairness of the electoral process, laying the groundwork for a successful and transparent Lok Sabha Election 2024.
