The Royal College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences celebrated its Annual Day “Royal Vibrations-2024” in the college campus here on Thursday. Around 600 students, 80 staff members and parents of the students participated in the event. Prof PN Murthy, Director of the College and president of the function, welcomed the guests and the gathering. In his introductory note, Prof Murty briefed about the continuous progress and contributions made by the college in uplifting the career of the students in particular and standards of the profession in general.
Prof (Dr) Sachidananda Mohanty, DMET, Odisha and the chief guest of the function expressed his happiness to see the facilities provided by the college and recognized the contribution of pharmacists in healthcare system. Dr Rajendra Kumar Panda, Jt DMET and Member Secretary, OSBP as guest of honour appreciated the role of Pharmacy profession in serving the society.
Dr T Prakasa Rao, president, Royal Educational and Research Society, underlined the importance of good health, knowledge and skills. Prof SK Panda, Principal of RCPHS, motivated the students and highlighted the significance of discipline in achieving their career goals. Prof US Mishra, vice-principal, presented a report on the activities on Royal Vibrations – 2024.
