The Heritage club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated
Ambedkar Jayanti with fervour on Friday. A special assembly was conducted in the junior school in which the students of class V delivered speech and performed a skit on the life history of Dr Ambedkar. In the senior wing too, a student dressed as Dr B.R. Ambedkar gave a short speech depicting his ideas about the constitution. Other activities included quiz and sketch making competition for classes VII and IX respectively. On this occasion Principal Samita Sinha motivated the students to follow Dr Ambedkar's footsteps and inculcate his values in their lives to achieve their aim and uplift society.
