Vikas Bharti gifts sewing machines, computer sets among tribal girls

Under the Parliamentary Complex Development Project, 60 days training was given to 200 tribal girls under “Tribal Youth Rural Entrepreneurs – Third Phase” on subjects like Sewing and Embroidery, IT, ITeS & E-Governance, Food Processing and Medicinal Plant Production and Processing, Vikas Bharti Bishunpur center in Gumla.

The main objective of this training program was to promote local employment cum self-employment among tribal girls as well as to stop their migration. With this objective, sewing machines and computer sets were distributed among all the trainees today, at the Ranchi center of Vikas Bharti Bishunpur.

Of these, sewing machines and computer sets were provided by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), New Delhi and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Ranchi to Vikas Bharti for distribution among the girls under their respective CSR action plans.

Under this program, sewing machines and computer sets were distributed among a total of 88 tribal girls who had come from Ranchi, Latehar, Khunti, Jamshedpur, Dumka, West Singhbhum and Garhwa districts of Jharkhand state.

Chief guest of the program,Harsh Nath Mishra, Director. Personnel, CCL, Shri V Satish ji, National Organizer, BJP, Ganesh Khude ji and Shri Anil Balshankar ji from NSDC, Shri Sanjay Seth ji, MP, Ranchi, Shri Sameer Oraon ji, Rajya Sabha MP cum National President, Tribal Morcha, BJP. This was done in the presence of Asha Lakra ji, National Secretary, BJP, Ashok Bhagat ji, Secretary, Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, Dr. Ranjana Kumari ji, Vice President, Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, parents of all the trainees as well as hundreds of workers of the organization.

Also, as a support to the trainees of food processing and medicinal plant production and processing, a check in the form of revolving fund was provided. In their respective speeches, the guests present congratulated all the girls for their training and also wished them for their bright future.

Earlier, on March 02, 2024, in collaboration with HINDALCO, Vikas Bharti distributed sewing machines among the trainees from Gumla and Lohardaga at its Bishnupur center by Lohardaga MP Mr. Sudarshan Bhagat ji and Mr. B.K. Jha ji, HINDALCO. This information has been given by the media division of Vikas Bharati.
