BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) have signed strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) to accelerate renewable energy integration, adopt smart distribution technologies, and develop advanced energy storage solutions in Delhi’s power sector.

The MoUs were signed by BRPL CEO Abhishek Ranjan, BYPL CEO Amarjeet Singh, and TERI Director General Dr. Vibha Dhawan, in the presence of BSES Director and Group CEO Shri Amal Sinha. Senior officials from both BSES and TERI were also present at the signing.

This three-year collaboration aims to enhance sustainability, improve operational efficiency, and drive consumer-centric advancements. Key areas of focus include innovations in integrating Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) into the grid, advancements in grid-scale energy storage systems, electric vehicle integration, smart grid technologies, digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning applications, energy efficiency, and demand-side management. BSES will provide essential utility-level data to support TERI’s targeted research, contributing to improved energy security, grid stability, and enhanced service quality.
