Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday addressed election rallies in Bihar’s Bagaha, Sikta and Saharsa constituencies, urging voters to use their ballot like a “Sudarshan Chakra” to defeat the opposition Mahagathbandhan.
Speaking in support of NDA candidates, Dr Yadav said the people’s vote carried divine power and must be used to uproot the “unholy” alliance. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting Bihar the Mahadalit and OBC Commissions, calling the BJP’s approach towards the poor “a bond as selfless as Krishna and Sudama’s friendship.”
Dr Yadav praised Bihar as a land of culture and intellect, recalling its links to Sita, Buddha, Mahavira and Krishna’s son Samba. He said Bihar had produced the country’s highest number of IAS and IPS officers and excelled in every field from medicine to business.
Taking aim at the Congress, Dr Yadav accused its leaders of blocking the construction of the Ram Temple and questioned the party’s dynastic control. “From Nehru to Rahul Gandhi, one family has ruled the Congress,” he said, contrasting it with the BJP’s inclusive ethos. He said Modi’s leadership ensured that “every poor family has a house, gas connection, electricity and water,” proving that empathy and governance can coexist. Dr Yadav also recalled Bihar’s transformation under NDA rule, citing improved roads, schools, hospitals and the completion of Purnia airport as examples. He urged voters to support NDA candidates “to strengthen the nation and punish those who insult India abroad.” As campaigning intensifies, Dr Yadav framed the election as a moral reckoning — a choice between progress under Modi and paralysis under the opposition.
