Delhi’s Education Minister Ashish Sood on Friday inaugurated road construction work on a 25-foot road from Vardhman Jewellers to Dwarka Nala Service Road in Chanakya Place Part-2. Speaking on the occasion, Sood announced that in the coming days several new development projects will be initiated in Janakpuri. These will include laying new sewer lines, improving old ones, installing new drinking water pipelines, upgrading the power distribution system as per seasonal demand, and repairing or constructing new roads using modern technology all on a priority basis. “The Chief Minister has ensured that Janakpuri Assembly receives the same priority as other parts of Delhi showing neither a shortage of funds nor a lack of political will to spend those funds for the welfare of the people,” he said.
