At a performance review of the district revenue department, Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma on Wednesday told officials to promptly resolve pending matters to improve Bhopal's ranking under ongoing Revenue Campaign 3.0.

The review meeting, held at the district panchayat hall, was attended by MLAs—Bhagwandas Sabnani and Atif Aqeel, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, District Panchayat CEO Rituraj Singh, a host of department functionaries, and public representatives.

Minister Verma told Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars in the district to resolve pending revenue cases within the given timeframe, stating that no case should be delayed unnecessarily. He warned that strict action would be initiated against those negligent of their assigned duties.

The minister said that Bhopal district must attain the top position in the state by resolving the highest number of cases under the revenue campaign. He urged officers to swiftly resolve pending cases and prioritise public service. He also mentioned that he would review the progress again in 15 days.

At the meeting, Collector Singh presented a status report on the progress made by the district under campaign. He said that the district is currently ranked 21st in the state for the resolution of matters under the campaign.

The ongoing campaign requires officials to resolve matters pertaining to mutation, partition, boundary demarcation, and map corrections and other revenue related matters.
