Six new state-of-the-art machines have been installed at the Advanced Cardiac Institute in Raipur to better treat diseases related to the heart, lungs and circulatory system, an official communiqué said on Tuesday.
Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal inaugurated the new facilities provided by the ICICI Foundation.
Jaiswal said: “These ultramodern machines will facilitate better treatment.”
Emphasising teamwork, he highlighted the significance of every employee’s commitment to healthcare services.
The head of the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Department, Dr. Krishna Kant Sahu, gave a briefing about the new equipment.
He stated that since the establishment of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department in 2017, 1,250 surgeries have been performed.
