BJP seeks suggestions for election manifesto

The Bharatiya Janata Party has asked people to give their suggestions which could be incorporated into the election manifesto of the party for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing mediapersons at the BJP state office, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi outlined plans for formulation of the party’s manifesto.

Khanna emphasised the unique approach of the BJP, stating, “While all parties issue manifestos before elections, the BJP releases it in the form of a resolution and diligently fulfils it. The manifesto exemplifies BJP’s commitment to incorporating public suggestions under Modi’s guarantee vehicle.”

Khanna further announced the initiation of ‘Sujhav Aapka, Sankalp Hamara’ (Your suggestion is our resolution).

This campaign will continue till March 30, encouraging citizens from every assembly constituency to give their recommendations.

Underlining the BJP’s earnest approach to its manifesto, Shahi said: “The 2024 election symbolises the promise of a developed India. Our prime minister has set the ambitious goal of achieving a developed India by 2047. This election is pivotal to fulfilling the prime minister’s resolve. Through our campaign, we aim to write our ‘Sankalp Patra’.”

“Since 2014, the BJP has given traditional manifestos, which we have diligently upheld, including the completion of Article 370 and the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA),” he added.

Shahi claimed that the BJP had doubled farmers’ income, provided toilets to every household, empowered women, ensured electricity and tap water to every home. He also highlighted the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, as promised by the BJP. He affirmed the party’s commitment to incorporating suggestions into the ‘Sankalp Patra’.
