CM thanks PM for Rs 100 reduction in LPG price

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing Rs 100 reduction in the price of LPG cylinders on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

The chief minister posted on X, “Today, on the occasion of Women’s Day, the decision to give a discount of Rs 100 on the prices of LPG cylinders will bring financial relief to millions of families and ensure a healthier, happier life for ‘matri shakti’ by freeing them from smoke and pollution. On behalf of the people of the state, I sincerely thank you, prime minister, for this public welfare initiative that honours the ‘matri shakti’ and safeguards the environment.”

Meanwhile, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, approved the release of additional installment of dearness allowance (DA) to Central government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners. Under this, the salary/pension has been increased by 4 per cent from the existing rate of 46 per cent.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this decision through his official account on X. He called it a decision that will benefit more than 49 lakh Central government employees and over 67 lakh pensioners before Holi.
