JPSC Examination: Meeting held to ensure peaceful and fair conduct

A crucial meeting convened under the chairmanship of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner, Ananya Mittal, addressed preparations for the upcoming Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Competitive Examination-2023. Held at Sidgora Town Hall, key officials including Senior Superintendent of Police, DDC, City SP, and SDM Dhalbhum were in attendance.

The examination, slated for March 17, 2024, will span 72 centers across the district. The imperative of conducting the exam with integrity, devoid of malpractices, was underscored. Center supervisors, static magistrates, flying squad magistrates, and center superintendents were duly briefed on their responsibilities to uphold the sanctity of the examination process.

District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for meticulous planning and adherence to guidelines issued by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Any lapses in duty will be met with strict consequences.

With over 32,000 candidates expected to participate across two shifts, rigorous measures including videography and stringent frisking protocols are in place. Senior Superintendent of Police highlighted the importance of rumor control and technological vigilance to ensure a smooth examination.

Deputy Development Commissioner stressed the timely presence of magistrates at examination centers and the provision of essential amenities. The collective commitment of all stakeholders, including education officials, treasury officers, and law enforcement, was reiterated.

 

In conclusion, the district reaffirmed its dedication to overseeing a transparent, orderly, and fair examination process.
