Kalpana Soren exhorts tribal youths to get education

Wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Kalpana Soren, has now become active in politics and has started addressing big meetings. Her activism is also increasing in the party. She also has her say in many decisions of the party. She is also likely to be given the responsibility of campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections by the party. She will campaign not only for JMM but also for its allies.

Kalpana today reached Giridih during her two-day stay and met people in Gandey Assembly Constituency. She explained to the people the importance of education in the tribal dominated area of Gandey. She said that now the time has come that every tribal family of the state should use education as a big weapon. During this, Kalpana Soren suggested the tribal youth to be serious about education.

Before this, Kalpana reached Bengabad where she was welcomed by MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed and District Board member cum JMM leader Hingamuni Murmu. Kalpana’s programme is also scheduled on Thursday. She will communicate with leaders and workers.

It is also being said that she will contest the Gandey Assembly bye-elections. She will also campaign for JMM candidates for Lok Sabha. At present the Gandey seat is vacant. On December 31, Gandey MLA Sarfaraz Ahmed resigned. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, there is also a bye-election on the Gandey assembly seat.

Even though voting is on 20th and 25th May, the leaders have already started reaching out to the voters. In this series, a two-day visit of Kalpana Soren, wife of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, is taking place in Giridih.

Kalpana Soren has also formed her own team. Young leaders of the university have been given a place in his team along with party workers. It was told that Dr. Tanuj Khatri of JMM Ranchi Metropolitan will look after their media and publicity. Dr. Tarakeshwar Mahato will work to meet the MLAs and workers.
