Mineral deptt collects revenue more than given target

In the financial year 2023-24, it is to be noted that a revenue target of Rs 23 crore was given by the government for Indore district. To achieve this target, under the guidance of Indore Collector  Ashish Singh,  Dharmendra Chauhan, Deputy Director Mineral Administration, Indore made tireless efforts and earned a revenue of Rs 23.84 crore.

The target has been achieved which is more than the given revenue target. Similarly, the highest number of cases have been registered by the district so far in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals. In this, 22 cases of excavation have been registered and a total of Rs 192 crores penalty has been proposed.  A total of 140 cases have been registered in illegal transport and a total amount of Rs 2.79 crore has been recovered, which is the highest penalty in Indore district so far.
