Rajasthan CM visits Ram temple with 133-member delegation

In a symbolic visit to the sacred city of Ayodhya, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma led a delegation of 133 members, including his cabinet, to seek blessings at the revered court of Lord Shri Ram.

After paying his obeisance at the Ram temple, Chief Minister Sharma said that Lord Ram was present everywhere in Ayodhya.

“I am happy to reach Ayodhya today. I had darshan of Lord Ram in the tent earlier. It is great that we are having darshan of Ram Lalla in the grand and divine temple," he said. 

Sharma envisioned Ayodhya as the epitome of cultural pride, anticipating a surge of devotees from across the nation and beyond.

Addressing a gathering, the Rajasthan chief minister extended a warm welcome to all devotees engaged in the auspicious endeavour of Lord Ram’s legacy.

Recognising the noble efforts of the Maheshwari Samaj in serving devotees, he emphasised the significance of the new dharamshala in catering to the needs of pilgrims.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, accompanied the Rajasthan chief minister, emphasised on the impact of Lord Ram’s life and ideals on contemporary democracy.

He participated with the Rajasthan chief minister in the groundbreaking ceremony and laid foundation stone of Saraswati Devi Shivkishan Dammani Bhavan, a sprawling dharamshala spanning 80,000 square feet and equipped with modern amenities, including accommodation, dining facilities, a yoga hall, library, hospital and a temple.

Sharma was accompanied by Rajasthan Chief Secretary Sudhanshu, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devanani, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajasthan unit president CP Joshi, Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra, Industries Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Education Minister Dilawar.

Other BJP MLAs from Rajasthan who visited Ayodhya included Gopal Sharma, Balmukund Acharya, Babu Singh Rathore, Deepti Maheshwari and Jogaram Patel.

Besides, two independent MLAs Priyanka Chaudhary and Chandrabhan Singh Akya were also present there.
