Ranchi Zone IG holds meeting in Lohardaga ahead of LS Polls

Inspector General of Police, South Chotanagpur Zone, Ranchi, Akhilesh Kumar Jha reached Lohardaga on Wednesday to take stock of the police preparations in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. He held a meeting with the district police officers including SP Haris Bin Zaman in the office of the Superintendent of Police and took information about the preparations of the police for the elections. Made a strategy to conduct elections in a fear-free environment.

In the meeting, there was special discussion on conducting peaceful elections in sensitive booths and Naxal affected areas.
