A preparatory meeting was held on Sunday at the Utkal Sammilani central office here for celebrating the Utkal Divas. The meeting was presided over by Sammilani State president Ananta Prasad Jena.
The meeting began with recital of the State Anthem ‘Bande Utkal Janani’. It was discussed how the Utkal Divas would be celebrated by the Sammilani’s branches in the State and outside.
Smmilani general secretary and Mancheswar branch president Dillip Dashsharma proposed that the current year’s theme should be ‘Sima Suraksha, Swabhiman Raksha’.
The proposal was passed unanimously. It was decided that all the branches would coordinate with the organisation’s central office regarding the matter and celebrate the Utkal Divas.
Among others, Sammilani Bhubaneswar branch president Subrat Mhapatra, secretary Shibabrata Mohanty, Diptimay Nayak and Rajanikant Acharya were present.
