Tata Steel Foundation, in collaboration with Jamshedpur FC, is proud to announce the successful organization of the AIFF D License course, held at the Tribal Culture Centre in Sonari, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The course commenced on March 18, 2024, and it will conclude on March 22, 2024, with the participation of 24 enthusiastic individuals from various regions of Jharkhand.
The AIFF D License course, a crucial step towards fostering professional football coaching, saw Kundan Chandra, Head of Youth Development & Grassroots, deputed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), serve as the esteemed instructor. The course aimed to enhance the quality of football coaching and contribute to the overall development of football in the region.
Notably, the participation of four female individuals among the 24 attendees underscores the commitment towards promoting gender inclusivity in football coaching and development.
Tata Steel Foundation, in alignment with Jamshedpur FC's vision, organized this course with the overarching goal of advancing football and elevating the standards of coaching in the region.
V Ramkrishna, Senior Manager of Tata Football Academy (TFA) & Sports, Tata Steel, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, offering words of motivation and encouragement to the participants. Additionally, Chandreyee Majumdar, Manager of Sports at Tata Steel Foundation, was present as the Guest of Honor, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in nurturing talent and promoting sports culture.
