'The last Karma' by young Ankita Jain to be launched on Sunday

Saturday, 13 June 2015 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

An English fiction book ‘The last Karma’ by a young authoress Ankita Jain will be released on Sunday at Swami Vivekananda library.

Ankita is known for her nationally acclaimed mob song ‘I love Mumbai’. Moreover, this song was registered in the limca Book of World Records in 2012. The last Karma by Ankita is another entertaining book for the bookworms  which will be launched on Sunday.

According to Ankita this book is a must-read. She says that some stories are written because they deserve to be told, they deserve to be learnt from. It’s not the story of Radhika or Saarthak or even Mitul, it’s not even a story about their love. It’s a story where life is the protagonist and death is the cruel antagonist. It’s a story of choices and contrition, of trust and trails, and of love and loss.

It is the story of that deserted railway station that stood witness in the wee hours of the morning of the love that she, Radhika, felt for Saarthak. It is the story of countless tears that stood testimony to Mitul’s love on that fateful night in Pune. The names would not ring a bell or conjure up a distant memory, but somewhere, little by little, the words will strike a chord in your heart, because no, it isn’t Radhika’s story after all. Neither is it Saarthak’s nor Mitul’s.

“It is our story, yours and mine. It is the story of that time when we fell in love, of the time we fell and couldn’t get up again,” says Ankita.
