PhD scholars present papers in Brahmapur

A two-day pre-PhD submission open seminar was   organised at the College of Library and Information Science here on October 26 and 27.

The college, a sister organisation of the SMIT Group of Institution, has reportedly been identified by the Berhampur University as the Nodal Center for Library and Information Science.

Ten research scholars who have had registered their names during the session 2015-16 under Berhampur University to carry out their doctoral research in Library and Information Science have made their presentations on their respective theme of research.

The seminar was coordinated by Principal-in-Charge-cum-in-Charge of the Nodal Centre Sitaram Panda. Besides, two senior most research supervisors who are known subject experts in their respective domains, namely, former Professor, Head and Dean of Sambalpur University Prof KC Panda; and Associate Professor and Head of DLIS of Central University, Tripura, Dr RK Mahapatra were present.

Around 50 students, scholars, and faculty members participated in the seminar.
