Enraged over intervening to pacify fight, a 23-year-old youth was stabbed to death by miscreant at Diksha Nagar under Baghsewania police station area in the evening on Thursday; police have booked two miscreants including a woman.

Panic prevailed in the area after a youth was beaten brutally and stabbed to death after he tried to pacify fight between two women over spilled water in front of house in the locality.

The deceased was attacked with a sharp edged weapon in his stomach and later he died after been taken to a nearby hospital. The deceased was identified as Jitendra Malviya while accused were identified as Ashish and Manju.

In the initial investigation police have found that the fight was over water which was spilled in front of Manju’s house by Krishna Malviya on Wednesday but it was pacified and later on Thursday Manju again had fight with Mukesh’s wife and irritated over the fight Manju informed nephew Ashish who arrived at the spot along with three others who assaulted Jitendra and in the fight Ashish stabbed him in the stomach. The injured youth was rushed to hospital where he died.

The search for the absconding accused is intensified. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation. The police have detained a woman and a man but it was confirmed that there were the accused or police have detained them to quiz regarding the incident and accused.
