The Madhya Pradesh State (female and male) beach volleyball competition will be organized for the first time in city.
The championship is being organised under joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Volleyball Association and Sports and Youth Welfare Department from October 20 to 23. It will be played in the city stadium.
As many as 13 teams of men and 12 teams of women will participate in the competition. The competition was launched on Sunday, October 20 at 6.00 pm. The Chairman (Director General) of Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation Limited, Shailendra Srivastava will inaugurate the championship.
These teams will continue to participate
A total of 25 teams from different districts of the state will participate in the three-day state level competition. RCC Bhopal, Narsinghpur and Ratlam in Men's Pool, A, Bhopal Corporation in Pool B, Narsinghpur District and Gwalior Corporation in Pool C. Gwalior District, Jabalpur Corp., Betul District and Pool D in Jabalpur District, PA. Teams from Gwalior, Khargone and Mandsaur districts are included.
Similarly, in women's section Pool A, Jabalpur District, Bhopal Corporation, Hoshangabad District, Pool B RCC Bhopal, Chhindwara and Ratlam District, Narsinghpur, Khargone and Shajapur District in Pool C and Jabalpur Corp. in Pool D, Narsinghpur ACA, And teams from Mandsaur district.
It is to be noted that beach volleyball is involved in national, Asian and Olympic games. The beach volleyball game played on the sand on the beach is included in the National, Asian and Olympic Games.
In Madhya Pradesh, with the aim of creating excellent sportspersons by promoting this game. The beach volleyball has been launched by the sports department on Director Sports and Youth Welfare SL Thoussen's initiative.

He stressed the need to promote this game in other districts as well. Sports Director Thoussen informed that apart from Bhopal, a court of beach volleyball has been made in Narsinghpur, while in the districts of Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Chhindwara, it is proposed to set up a court of volleyball.
