CM to take ‘feats’ to people’s doors

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led ruling dispensation has decided  to strain every nerve and tell the people about the schemes and all good work done for the people. From imparting quality education, health services, fulfilling basic needs of  drinking water and power to the people of the national Capital, the achievements are in plenty for the Delhi Government.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Cabinet will be going to the people to make them aware about all the works done  by the Government. The main thrust of the Government is to reach out to the last man as Government is already in the second half of the fifth year.

Having learnt lessons from the just concluded  Lok Sabha elections, in which AAP hardly managed to get votes in all seven constituency, the Delhi Cabinet led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is ready to beat the scorching heat by going door to door to tom tom AAP’s work in all sectors including Public Work Development (PWD’s ) project or Public Distributing System (PDS).

 Notably, CM Kejriwal on Monday announced that all the Cabinet Ministers of  AAP will interact with masses for “Direct Citizen Feedback” and “Project Monitoring” initiatives.

Kejriwal said that the Cabinet would also take stock of the Government facilities like schools, clinics and public dealing offices with a purpose to get first-hand account of AAP’s functioning. 

 “This would help the Government know the problems at the grassroots and make public oriented solution to them,” a Chief Minister Office’s statement quoted.

Kejriwal has already started his padyatras, started from Deoli and Tuglukabad, the AAP National convener has promised South Delhi people for the installation of new pipeline projects within four months.  He also assured people tanker mafia will not sustain for longer.  

The key member of Kejriwal’s Cabinet — Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who also holds two important portfolios of education and finance minister visited seven schools to take the status of ongoing construction works in schools.

Sisodia will continue this routine visit to ensure the construction work to build new class rooms complete on time. 

Cabinet Minister  Satyendar Jain will be taking stock of hospitals, clinics, roads, construction projects of PWD and Irrigation and Flood Control apart from interacting with people on issues like power, healthcare and other public services and utilities and will interact people on Tuesday.  Gopal Rai the Labor Minister, Kailsah Gahlot the Transport Minister and Social Justice minister Rajendar Pal Gautam would also be in the midst of people of Delhi and will do reality check of all projects under their respective departments.   Food & Civil Supplies and Environment Minister Imran Hussain will also be making surprise checks on the public distribution system (PDS) shops to know the functioning and whether these shops were working properly or not.

“In his visit to PDS shops, he will interact the people to learn about the grievances of consumers,” a Delhi Government official said .
