Govt addressing industrial grievances: Kamal Nath

Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that whatever the problems and suggestions of the Pithampur Industrial area are, the Government has already initiated action on 80 percent of its points. He said that the government is wakeful that a conducive environment for the industry should be made and they should not face problem in their work.

On the eve of the ‘Magnificent Madhya Pradesh’ Summit, Kamal Nath was holding the discussions with the representatives of the Pithampur Industrial Association at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore on Thursday.

Nath said that the government has already initiated action on the memorandum given today by the Pithampur Industrial Association. He further said that points and suggestions should be brought to his notice, the Government will act on them with priority and gradually the problems will be resolved by incorporating all those suggestions.

Nath further said that we wanted to create an environment for the development of the state, prosperity of people and to provide employment to youth. Every complaint and suggestion of the new investors and existing industries will be taken on priority. The Chief Minister expected from the Pithampur Industrial Association that it will apprise him of its complaints and suggestions from time to time.

The President of Pithampur Industrial Association Dr. Gautam Kothari, while handing over the 22 points memorandum to the Chief Minister, said that number of decisions have been taken in his eight months short tenure, that have encouraged the industry and investors. He also congratulated the Chief Minister Kamal Nath in this regard. The representatives of the Pithampur Industrial Association expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister that they have been heard seriously for the first time and on several points of their memorandum, the Government has already initiated action.

The Chairman of Pithampur Industrial Association Ajay Shivekari presented a memento to the Chief Minister on behalf of the association. The Chief Minister was also presented with a portrait of Gandhi Ji on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary as memento. The Chief Secretary SR Mohanty, Principal Secretary Industry Rajesh Rajoura, Managing Director MPSIDC Vinod Porwal and other Senior Officers were present on the occasion.
