Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organised Declamation Contest for the students of class 11th and 12th on Friday on the theme ‘Water and Our Future’. Students from various schools- Bal Bharti Public School, Nishatpura; Campion School, Bhouri; Model Higher Secondary School, TT Nagar; International Public School, Mishrod and Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal participated in the programme.
In-charge of the museum & Scientist-B Manoj Kumar Sharma welcomed jury members, students and teachers. During the competition, participants expressed their ideas about the importance of water, water pollution and its effect on future of human.
Kanak Nandini Sharma from International Public School, Mishrod, Bhopal won the first prize, Similarly, Gagan Parmer from Model Higher Secondary School, T. T. Nagar and Mragakshi Upadhyay from International Public School, Mishrod got the second & third prizes respectively. Similarly, Saud Rehman, Campion School, Bhouri; Shivendra Mishra from Model Higher Secondary School, TT Nagar; Ujjwal Jaimini from Campion School, Bhouri; Arinjay Saxena from International Public School, Mishrod and Gavish Lohat from Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar bagged the encouragement prizes.
Chief Executive Officer Kartik Sapre from Narmada Samagra Nyas, Bhopal; Former Executive Engineer HN Golait from Water Resource Department, Govt of Madhya Pradesh and Scientist-B of the museum & Coordinator of the programme Manik Lal Gupta were the Jury Members of the competition. Kartik Sapre told that the history of Narmada River is more ancient then Ganga River. He informed that the conservation of water & increasing of water level can be possible by plantation of plants at banks of Narmada River.
HN Golait detailed about the water recycle. He informed that the availability of water can be continued through the water
recycle.
During the vote of thanks, Manik Lal Gupta told we should conserve the water in our daily life and encourage other also.
