Several trains to get affected due to traffic-cum-power block

Following traffic-cum-power block carried out at Tatanagar railway station, train services will remain affected in Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway ( SER) on Thursday (February 14). The traffic-cum-power block will start at 8.30 am and continue till 3 pm resulting in cancellation of three passenger trains and short termination of three trains.

The trains which will remained cancelled includes—08011/08012 Chakradharpur-Tatanagar-Chakradharpur Special, 58031/58032 Chakulia-Tatanagar-Chakulia Passenger and 58024/58023 Barkakana-Tatanagar-Barkakana Passenger.

Similarly, there will be short termination or short origination of three trains.  58662 Hatia-Tatanagar Passenger will be short terminated at Gamharia and will short originate as 58661 from Gamharia. The services of 58661/58662 will remain cancelled between Tatanagar-Gamharia-Tatanagar.  58104 Barbil-Tatanagar Passenger will be short terminated at Chaibasa and will short originate as 58103 from Chaibasa. The services of 58104/58103 will remain cancelled between Chaibasa-Tatanagar-Chaibasa section.  Also, 13301 Dhanbad-Tatanagar Subarnarekha Express will be short terminated at Kandra and will short originate as 13302 from Kandra. The services of 13301/13302 will remain cancelled between Kandra-Tatanagar-Kandra.

For passenger convenience, the SER has made additional stoppages of some trains on Thursday.  12443 Haldia-Anand Vihar Express will stop at Kandra to give connection to passengers of 13302 Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subarnarekha Express.

The South Eastern Railway ( SER) has also rescheduled some trains on Thursday. 18101 Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 3.50 pm instead of 2.50 pm.

18189 Tatanagar-Rourkela-Alappuzha Link Express will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 4.15 pm instead of 3.30 pm on Thursday.
